Privacy & Your Rights
Texas law protects your health information and gives you rights over it. This page explains those rights, how we use and share your information, and what this website does and doesn’t collect.
Effective
Your Rights Under Texas Law
Texas law requires us to post how to get your records, how to contact Rhegan’s licensing board, and how to file a complaint (Texas Health & Safety Code § 181.105).
Requesting your records
Send your request by email to rhegan@rxtxaesthetics.com. It needs to be in writing, and an email is enough. If you have questions about it first, call (940) 500-1251. Please include:
- your full name and date of birth, so we find the right records;
- which records you want: all of them, or those from a range of dates;
- whether you want them electronically or on paper, and where to send them.
When your records are kept in an electronic system that can produce them, we send them to you electronically no later than the 15th business day after we receive your written request, unless you agree to another form (§ 181.102).
Any charge covers only the reasonable cost of copying and mailing. There is no retrieval fee.
Contacting Rhegan’s licensing board

Filing a complaint
The Texas Attorney General keeps the list of state agencies that take complaints about health care providers, with how to file with each: the Attorney General’s list of health care agencies. For a registered nurse, that agency is the Texas Board of Nursing, above.
How Your Health Information Is Used and Shared
We use and share your health information to:
- Treat you. For example, Rhegan reviews your health history before each treatment.
- Take payment. For example, your receipt names the treatment you received.
- Run the practice. For example, we use your appointment history to schedule you and to send you appointment reminders.
Your health information is subject to electronic disclosure (§ 181.154). For example, it is kept in an electronic records and scheduling system, and parts of it may be sent electronically to the telehealth service that performs good-faith exams, or to a pharmacy that fills a prescription for your treatment.
Beyond treatment, payment, running the practice, and what the law requires or allows, we share your health information electronically only with your separate permission for each disclosure. You can give that permission in writing, electronically, or out loud, and we will write it down. You can withdraw a permission at any time; that stops any sharing that hasn’t happened yet.
We never use or share your health information for marketing without your clear permission, given in writing or electronically (§ 181.152).
We never sell your health information (§ 181.153).
If Your Information Is Ever Breached
If your health information is ever involved in a breach of security, we will notify you as Texas law requires (Texas Business & Commerce Code § 521.053).
